Javier Zacharias is a Film and TV music Composer and Producer. He is also a multi-instrumentalist who performs and records regularly playing saxophone, piano, drums, guitar and clarinet.
He composed the score for the Disney+ series Freeks (2023). His composition credits also include original music for Carnival Magic theme park, source cues for the Netflix show Monzón (2019), and the scores for Tierra de Rufianes (nominated for "Best Score" in BA Web Festival as well as the Rio Web Fest), El Legado and Inconsciente Colectivo (winner “Best Original Music” Premio Nuevas Miradas). He composed music for TV ads for brands such as Ford, Notion, John Foos and Cardon.
As a music producer, he has produced songs for the TV show “Tu cara me suena” (TelevisaUnivision, Mexico) and produced the music for “El mundo de Jey”, (a comedy show currently playing in Multitavaris Theater).
In 2021 he worked as score producer for the Disney+ series Intertwined. He has also produced songs for more than 50 artists, ranging from mainstream Pop to Indie, Rock bands and more and amounting over 2 million streams in Spotify.
Javier is a Summa Cum Laude graduate from Berklee College of Music with a degree in Film Scoring. As a student he was awarded the Berklee Entering Student Talent Scholarship, the Berklee Achievement Scholarship and the BMI award given to one student per year in recognition of academic and musical excellence in Film Scoring.
Javier also writes songs under the alias Jacinto and hosts Pizzel Podcast with Pedro Fayolle.
